Visibilidade LGBTQIAPN+ nas Quadrilhas Juninas Atreladas ao Feminismo Negro
Abstract
The investigative and analytical process stems from experiential learning within the environment of quadrilhas juninas, grounded in epistemological studies on gender during the Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities. The study aimed to understand the aspects and attitudes that demonstrate queer empowerment in quadrilhas juninas in the city of Barreiras, Bahia. Queer empowerment initiates a structure of resistance and empowerment, ultimately leading to LGBTQIAPN+ visibility, which is the focus of this study. Regarding visibility, the study draws on Black Feminist theories to provide concepts and tools to transform junino spaces into arenas of visibility, recognition, and expression. Concepts such as intersectionality and standpoint are examined to understand LGBTQIAPN+ visibility within junino spaces, as well as all the potentialities and challenges of this phenomenon.
