Abstract

The text summarizes the experience of the Academic Activity Curriculum Museums and Diversity (AAC), conducted in 2020 at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) during Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE). With a workload of 60 hours, the AAC utilized the Moodle Platform to provide synchronous and asynchronous classes, promoting discussions about gender and sexuality in museums. Students shared experiences from various institutions and suggested improvements, such as incorporating content on women's struggles and the presence of LGBTQIA+ narratives in museum discourse. The result of the research on LGBTQ exhibitions in 2020 was positive and generated proposals for future academic activities.
