His text maps LGBT Shelters in Brazil, highlighting their areas of operation. In light of the violence and social vulnerability faced by the LGBT community, these shelters emerge as spaces of support and shelter, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Seven initiatives are identified that offer temporary housing, psychological and cultural support, as well as professional training. The study reflects on the need for public policies and the intersection of social vulnerability with LGBT rights, emphasizing the importance of preserving life and memory within these communities.
