Abstract

The collaboration between UFRGS's Museology course and the Nuances collective, started in 2016, has resulted in exhibitions and other outcomes such as research and preservation activities. This partnership emphasizes the importance of university outreach in connecting Museology with social movements, especially the LGBTQIA+ community. Projects include the exhibition "From Stonewall to Nuances: 50 Years in Action" and, in 2021, "Nega Lú: a Frenzy in the Damned Porto Alegre," a tribute to an iconic queer figure. These actions highlight the role of Museology in fostering inclusion and new narratives.
