SALVAGUARDA DE UM ACERVO LGBT+ NO RS

Abstract

This text discusses the partnerships between the group nuances and the UFRGS Museology course through extension projects focused on LGBT+ themes. Since 2016, initiatives have included exhibitions and preservation efforts, culminating in the project "Memória nuances: safeguarding an LGBT+ collection in RS." Elective courses linked to these projects provide students with practical experience in documentation and social museology. The preservation of LGBT+ narratives and collections aims to resist erasure and ensure the legitimacy of this community's memories, often marginalized and fragile in terms of documentary records.
