This text explores the role of curatorial practices in museums and the arts as tools of resistance against hegemonic structures. Through a critical analysis, it discusses how curatorship can transgress conventions by giving visibility to marginalized bodies and narratives, such as Black, Indigenous, and LGBTQI+ artists. Furthermore, initiatives like the Levante Nacional Trovoa and the Pluralidades project are presented as examples of aquilombamento and counter-hegemonic strategies, promoting new forms of representation and challenging the limitations imposed by traditional institutions.
